MIS & My Career

Management Information Systems (MIS) is the term given to the discipline focused on the integration of computer systems with the aims and objectives on an organisation.

* Strategy Support : MIS systems can be used to transform data into information useful for decision making. Computers can provide financial statements and performance reports to assist in the planning, monitoring and implementation of strategy.
* Data Processing :Not only do MIS systems allow for the collation of vast amounts of business data, but they also provide a valuable time saving benefit to the workforce. Where in the past business information had to be manually processed for filing and analysis it can now be entered quickly and easily onto a computer by a data processor, allowing for faster decision making and quicker reflexes for the enterprise as a whole.

This would contribute to achieve my business goals more efectively like solving business problems such as costing a product, service or a business wide strategy. MIS contributes technology with business to get people the information they need to do their jobs better, faster, and smarter.

My personal goals

Personal Goals is that I want to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself in the area of public speaking. I want to meet new people. I want to share my ideas with people who haven't always known me. I want a boat. I want to enjoy myself at college and work as much as possible. I want to grow. I want to learn new things. I want to feel challenged. I want to be more adventourous. I want to create something that is unimaginable. And hope will be able to achieve all that.

My eduacational achievements

My objectives for returning to college are to fulfill my personal and business goals by increasing my knowledge and gaining skills to become an asset to my company and family. I had the challenge and stimulation that learning offers me to enhance my self- esteem, which will enable me to handle conflict in the workplace. My life will be the challenge of attaining three goals to their fullest degree: to learn, to love and to live. Oh! To learn- I will make my mind a sponge, soaking up every fact it encounters. In school and out of school, my ears, eyes and heart will be open to learn new things, and gather new facts. I will knit these facts and experiences into a final product.

My community involvement

Community involvement provides an environment in which I develop the skills and acquire the knowledge that can help me make a difference in my rapidly changing society. It strives to provide me opportunities to make decisions and to satisfy my academic needs responsibly and effectively. My contributions to the community are not huge but i did try to make a difference by helping sick patients in the hopital and contribution in red cross

My academic goals

I take great pleasure outlining my academic goals. I am a highly motivated individual. I believe that in life, it is important to help others in any way possible. This is possible for me by learning and achieveiving educational success. I also believe that hard work and perseverance are two keys to success. With these positive attributes I have been able to achieve accomplishment in my, academic and extra-curricular endeavors.

Warren Buffet was born on august 30, 1930. he was an american investor, business man and philanthropist. he is one of the most successful investors in history, the primary shareholder of CEO of Berkshire Hathway. in 2008 he was ranked by Forbes as the richest person in the world. Buffett is often called the "Oracle of Omaha" or the "Sage of Omaha" and is noted for his adherence to the value investing philosophy and for his personal frugality despite his immense wealth. He is one of the most influential people in the world.
